Hey folks! I am supposed to be presenting for career day this week at an elementary school to several classes of 2nd and 3rd grade students for about 10-15m per class. I thought this would be a simple matter until I realized that I will have to explain what I do in a manner that these young students can understand while still being entertaining.
Whatever you do, don’t give them a day in the life. When I did a presentation about being a lawyer to some junior high kids, I did a hypothetical case using some of the kids. It was pretty G rated. I said something about one kid giving another kid $2 to buy lunch and then asking for it back the next day.
