Unit 9: it project management -, assignment 2 & 3 (learning aim b & c), (all criterias met), unit 9 – it project management, assignment 2 & 3, unit introduction:.

####### In this assignment, I will be initiating the project by researching a problem with using my creative skills to

####### generate a range of solutions. I will also undertake a feasibility study to select an appropriate solution and

####### outline the requirements of the project. Furthermore, I will be planning and executing to undertake a major

####### project as part of my BTEC course. Lastly, I will be carrying out the plans that I have made by using an

####### appropriate methodology to explain and analyze the useful contents and by investigating the benefits and

####### drawbacks of this methodology.

Initiating the project:

Scenario/ user requirements:.

#######  The first requirement would be the participants that are required to enter the tournament

####### as individuals or as part of a team

#######  The second requirement will be forming into 4 teams with 5 members each and 20 spaces

####### for individual competitors

#######  The third requirement would be to complete 5 events in each team or individuals

####### The scenario to initiate the project will include:

#######  Each event that will be defined as a team or individual event

#######  The events will vary in type, from sporting to academic challenges

#######  Individuals and teams will be awarded points according to their rank within each event

#######  The points awarded for each event are yet undecided and the college are willing to hear

####### any suggestions you may have

#######  Also, the college would like to include the possibility of entering for one event only

Scope of this project:

####### The scope of this project will cover the application requirements which will require users to record and

####### store their scores across numerous events. In addition, there will be four teams with at least five members

####### per team and they will participate in different types of events of either individual or team where possible.

####### The scoring system will be decided later for each event once they are all finished. However, this will be

####### recorded to singular events separately.

Input of this project:

####### The input of this project will be the individuals and four teams with points being awarded from 0 – 5. These

####### inputs will be the score achieved, team names and users that will be entering their personal details such as

####### name, surname and date of birth. From this, their records will be saved automatically when they have

####### finished or have completed one or more events.

Process of this project:

####### The process of this is that the application will take the input that have been recorded to the system and

####### then form a calculation to add up the total points earned across all events which will then generate the

####### number of positions each member will be in. An example of this could be individuals that could receive the

####### following points that include the following:

####### I will first create the design specification for my program that I will be designing and then choose my final

####### solution of my design that is bet suitable. After my chosen design of the program, I will then begin

####### generating the program code and how my program will function with making sure everything runs fluently

####### and if there are any improvements to be made.

####### After this, the implementation process will start and 1 person will be responsible with the planner

####### making sure it displays valid and accurate information. I will be running a test to check if everything is

####### functioning properly and that it does not display any unnecessary, redundant or inaccurate information.

####### Lastly, I will be making sure each section of code that is produced are fully operating effectively and to keep

####### these codes up-to-date and this would fully cover the maintenance issue that should not be encountered.

Picking events for this project:

####### When choosing events, there will be both individual and team events that will become available on the day.

####### The chosen events will specifically aim towards the popular ones such as football, basketball, or even

####### volleyball. These team events are the most common out of all the other events.

Individual events:

####### The individual events that users will take part include:

➢ Bowling ➢ Cycling ➢ Golf ➢ Swimming ➢ Wrestling

Team events:

####### The team events that members will contribute include:

➢ Football ➢ Basketball ➢ Volleyball ➢ Baseball ➢ Cricket

Allocating points:

####### There will be different positions varying on how much points members earned and will be arranged in order

####### to demonstrate the results display. For instance, if a user scores up to 10 – 15 points or more, that user will

####### automatically become first place. The maximum points that can be earned is unlimited which means they

####### can earn as much as they want when they complete events.

####### The points will be added up starting with 1 to 30+ which means that if every competent or user earns these

####### points, they will be ranked at the top of the leaderboard. Additionally, to be in 1st place, users will have to

####### earn at least more than 20 points whereas users will automatically become second and third place if points

####### are earned below the average.

####### Unit 9 – Learning Aim B/C

####### Individual Events:

####### 1 st = 5 points

####### 2nd = 4 points

####### 3 rd = 3 points

####### 4 th = 2 points

####### 5 th = 1 point

####### Other = 0 points

Introduction to Proposal 1 – C#:

####### The first proposal that I have chosen is C# as a code will need to be generated with active use for creating

####### the scoreboard. This would allow me the opportunity to enter individuals or by asking useful questions

####### either it is a team or an individual, how many players it will contain and the names for each member to

####### record the data that have been inputted into the system. Also, there may be a few errors in conjunction

####### with additions such as a welcome screen. This will all be programmed also within the system.

Introduction to Proposal 2 – Python:

####### The second solution I have chosen is Python to generate a code for creating the scoreboard. This enables

####### me to enter individuals or by asking useful questions either it is a team or an individual, how many players

####### it will contain and the names for each member to record the data that have been inputted into the system.

####### Also, there may be a few errors in conjunction with additions such as a welcome screen. This will all be

####### programmed also within the system.

The shows the scope of the entire project

####### interested in developing something new.

####### This will be part of the user experience where there is a

####### consideration about its use of design, ease of use and how the

####### design may be usable or not with taking account of features

####### together with users and what they want to do with it and their

####### environment in performing tasks along with determining its

####### level of usability.

####### The usability of this proposal (C#) is mainly

####### focused on desktop application

####### developments but highly recent on

####### windows 8/10 applications. This language

####### can also be used to develop games and has

####### become much popular for mobile

####### development too.

####### The design may need to be as effortless as

####### possible for users to interact easily with

####### navigating to each page using useful

####### buttons, onscreen guidance and

####### calculation button to find out the total

####### points earned by users.

####### This should be easy for users to achieve

####### their objective though using the

####### application that will be designed. If users

####### have the goal of completing a specific

####### event, the code for c sharp will be inputted

####### correctly using correct functions and this

####### will allow users to see their results.

####### This is where users will need practice before they completely

####### start using C#. The use of skills would be very essential since it is

####### advisable to have a knowledge of creating and generating codes

####### using C#. There are also tutorials and walkthroughs for each

####### concept that is explained carefully for beginners to fully

####### reinforce their understanding.

####### The training for this language (C#) provides

####### all the essential tools for users or

####### developers to strongly implement the

####### application or program they would want.

####### The users can start looking at the .NET

####### framework, C#’s core constructs,

####### assemblies and many more to succeed

####### their expectation.

####### For those that are new to this

####### programming software (Visual Studio),

####### they will be provided extra support such as

####### guiding them through and touring all the

####### tools and techniques that are used to

####### successfully execute the application or

####### program.

Success/Reviews:

####### This part will be where users will can have a quick brief of the

####### successions in both proposals (C Sharp and Python) have been

####### made for its huge popularity of developing games and media.

####### C Sharp has been in succession with game

####### and media development and is rated with

####### the most powerful, flexible and well

####### supported programming language (C# with

####### its rapid popularity which is selected to be

####### the 4th most common programming

####### language.

Proposal 2: Python Description

Technical specification.

####### This would be the requirements or specification

####### needed to successfully run the programming

####### language in a stable and fluent way. The more

####### requirements it meets or if requirements exceed

####### with the expectation or minimum, the better

####### process it will be with functioning better.

####### The minimum system specification in order to

####### successfully utilize a python software includes:

####### Processors: Intel Atom® processor or Intel® Core™

####### i3 processor.

####### Disk space: 1 GB.

####### Operating systems: Windows* 7 or later, macOS,

####### and Linux.

####### Python* versions: 2.7, 3.6.

Economic assessment

####### This includes the cost of the programming language

####### (Python)

####### Training requirements are also essential

####### Free resources provided

####### For the cost for using this programming language

####### (Python), users will not be expected to purchase

####### anything as they will only be using a browser such

####### as internet explorer, google chrome and many

####### more.

####### Users will almost have all the requirement tools

####### already provided since it is a free and open source.

####### These were given away for users that are interested

####### to download and use them.

####### The cost for the training to be provided is

####### completely free which means that users are

####### intended to make the most out of using this

####### programming language (Python).

####### The free resources that are provided are used to

####### support those that are capable of starting to

####### implement a software application. This would then

####### give them a great example of improving and to

####### implement more challenging software applications.

####### This would be the ease of use with the

####### programming language (Python) and whether the

####### programming software is convenient or not.

####### For the usability of this programming language

####### (Python), it contains its syntax and structure

####### simplicity allowing users to begin programming

####### codes in relevance to Python at an industry level

####### very rapidly. This programming language also

####### considers of supporting several paradigms such as

####### structured, imperative and aspect-oriented

####### programming. Therefore, these make it effortless to

####### expertise in any kind of development.

####### This is where users may need some training and

####### this is necessary to ensure they have the current

####### For this section, users do not need any specification

####### or qualification to learn Python but will need a

####### quick brief of what is included in the contents

####### inside Python.

Security Assessment The security assessment for C sharp is that it

####### provides many useful services which allows to

####### write codes easily and securely with enabling

####### system administrators to customize the

####### permissions granted so that protected and

encrypted resources can be accessed safely.

Scheduling assessment the creation of coding c sharp is expected to be.

####### completed by the end of December 2019 and to

####### fully meet all its deadlines, I will be planning a

####### timeline and checklist so that I can cover all the

####### tasks and objectives that is needed to do

####### beforehand. The project planning process will be

####### expected to be complete by the end of

####### November and then the design or producing

####### diagrams, source of code, flow charts and

####### reviews will be finished around the middle of

####### December.

Success Criteria The success criteria for C Sharp will be to

####### complete the project with as much time as

####### possible listing out all the requirements of scores

####### that are inputted into a data when using the

####### project that is currently in progress.

####### Furthermore, the expectation of this would be to

####### add records of competitors, outputting results of

####### the overall score and indicating the highest point

####### ranked from 1st to 3rd place. This process will

####### need an arrangement technique to automatically

####### commute places in order from lowest to highest.

Operational Assessment

####### This is the foundation of any programming

language and from this, the functionality of C#

####### language is incomplete if the operators aren’t

####### used. Operators allow users to perform different

####### types of operations on operands.

####### The operational assessment for C Sharp is that it

####### offers myriads of operators supported by the

####### built-in types. For instance, arithmetic operators

####### oversee performing arithmetic operations with

####### numeric operands and Boolean logical operators

####### perform logical operations with the bool

####### operands.

####### In addition, C Sharp will be operated by using

####### many contents such as choosing windows form

####### application, windows file opener and many

Technical Assessment

####### This is where this extensive programming software

####### would provide a controlled environment for

####### software to be developed, installed and executed

####### across various webs, desktops and mobile devices.

####### It was originally made for windows before but now

####### is developed across many platforms.

####### The technical assessment of using C Sharp is that

####### there are mostly installations and downloads

####### being made as it has an enormous ser of use

####### cases which makes C# highly versatile. This

####### programming language (C#) can be used to

####### create tons of games with indicating the very

####### best technical-related requirements such as

####### keeping an eye of resolution, graphics, storage

####### and the use of graphical user interface.

t This will vary on which product and service is

####### being proposed such as environmental impact,

####### waste material, power usage, choice of material,

####### recycling and reuse.

####### With the environmental effect, software

####### integration can run differently to the same

####### software that runs in the IDE on the same system

####### in debug mode.

####### Programs will be responsible with responding to

####### environmental considerations such as

####### environment variables, configuring system,

####### dependencies and how many language versions

####### the programming software (Python) has.

####### When creating codes using C Sharp, the amount

####### of voltage and power being used in this

####### programming language to develop applications is

####### high and the energy efficiency of C Sharp has a

####### high energy consumption.

Usability assessment The usability of C Sharp is that it provides

####### flexibility, fluency and efficiency offering

####### beginners the chance to provide original made

####### variables and functions to start the coding

####### process. This programming language would also

####### include techniques which will be used to test

####### functions which could avoid any issues to occur.

Feasibility study: Python Description

####### formal way

Success Criteria This would contain the list of features that the assignment

####### brief/scope are required to be in the application and

####### working.

####### The success of Python will be addressed by ensuring the

####### application requirements are comprehensively finalized

####### with the measurement of predicting results of the scores

####### recorded by many users across several events sufficiently.

####### The criteria for this would be to end the project designs

####### and layout so that quantities of information is being stored

####### in a database securely and privately.

Scheduling Assessment The creation of coding the application must be completed

####### within the last couple weeks of December to fully meet

####### the project deadline.

####### However, there may be some training required since it is

####### essential for users to fully understand and use each

####### content of the programming software to run the

####### programming language (Python). The first few weeks once

####### starting the project will be to consider a dedication of

####### specifying the scope, input, output, timescale, process,

####### user interface and storage.

####### After pointing out these, the design, flow chart and

####### diagrams are considered towards the following weeks of

####### November to ensure it is known to be visible to how the

####### display would look like before the actual implementation.

Operational Assessment Evaluation of working effectiveness and suitability of a

####### system through test methods aimed at:

####### 1. Identification of defects, gaps, areas of risk

####### 2. Measurement of the adequacy of the output

####### 3. Assessment of the reliability of the

####### operations Black box/White box testing

####### Black box testing – This method is the internal design or

####### implementation of the item being tested not known. This

####### would usually be functional.

####### White box testing – When testing this type, the code will

####### become visible to the tester and would focus on verifying

####### the flowing process of inputs and outputs through the

####### project. This would strengthen security as it validates

####### whether code implementation follows intended design to

####### uncover exploitable vulnerabilities.

Risk assessment for C#

####### Probability

####### of threat

####### occurring

####### Very likely Medium High Extreme

####### Likely Low Medium High

####### Unlikely Low Low Medium

####### Minor Moderate Major

####### Size of the loss

####### Threat number. 1

####### Threat title. Syntax errors

####### Probability. The probability of this will be likely

####### Potential size of loss

####### / impact level.

####### The impact level or size of loss will be moderate

####### Risk severity. The risk severity for this proposal (C#) is high

####### Explanation of the

####### threat in context.

####### The code that can be compiled using C Sharp may experience problems such as

####### code compiler errors like missing semicolons or misspelled commands and

####### prevents the code running process to work properly. This type of threat/error can

####### exist if some codes are not generated or written in methodically or in its simplest

####### form.

####### Threat number. 2

####### Threat title. SQL Injection attack

####### Probability. The probability of this will be unlikely

####### The impact level or size of loss will be minor

####### Risk severity. The risk severity for this proposal (Python) is low

####### In its normal occasions, the SQL injection attack would be considered to be likely

####### for it probability and have a major impact on the application/program. I have

####### indicated that the application or program of what I have designed did not hold

####### any personal data other than first and second name of competent and therefore I

####### had downgraded the risk severity to be low because of its unlikelihood.

Evaluation of Proposal 1 & 2

Proposal 1 – c# proposal 2 - python, advantages object-oriented language pureness allowing.

####### users to create maintainable application and

####### being able to reuse/regenerate codes if made a

####### mistake.

####### Provides several third-party modules which makes

####### Python capable of interacting with most of the

####### other languages and platforms.

####### whichever level they are at.

####### These common methods include:

  • Using “var” in a needless way when users

####### know the data type – var will always help

####### them to stop receiving errors from their

####### code if a null or a data type that they

####### weren’t expecting is returned.

  • Using public class variables instead of

####### properties – Using public class

####### variables will be the best method as

####### there is a

####### limitation of controlling who can set a

####### property with object-oriented

####### programming.

  • Regularly updating sources from change

####### control – Users will need to download to

####### the latest version before starting to work

####### on a solution, and always upload their

####### latest changes when they are finished. It is

####### highly recommended always compile the

####### code to ensure others can download and

####### run the solution each day.

  • Minimizing risks using a defensive

####### programming - This will allow users to

####### protect their code from inevitable

####### bugs.

####### There is a combination of the following

####### guidelines such as, every code being

####### liability, codifying assumption and

####### preferred documentation execution.

  • Crafting safe query parameters -Every

####### time user input is used in database

####### queries, there is a possible vulnerability

####### getting infected. To reduce this infection

####### or risk is to simply ensure the value is

####### being used as the developer intended. For

####### instance, users could intend the username

####### to be used as a string.

Budgeting Solution 1

####### Regarding Python, users will need to attend training courses to fully run and implement ideas into

####### the program. This implies that Python will require £954 to take a beginner course and will be

####### within six months period to learn and acquire the degree.

####### Python is an open source software and all the budget would be covering the cost of buying a hardware and

####### device in order to run python successfully. I have researched and found out that Dell offers an OptiPlex

####### 5070 computer for £585 and this would meet the specifications of Python. Also, it can last for up to any

####### years since the computer currently uses the latest 9th Gen i5 core processor and a dedicated graphics cards

####### if necessary, for a future project. Software protection may not be included which means that there are no

####### antivirus software installed and the network drivers may need to be added along with purchasing an

####### antivirus software like Norton or AVG.

####### A standard desktop would cost £350 and includes all the essential components to run Python. The

####### desktop that I have found out would require a security software such as firewall so that it can reduce any

####### malicious programs and block access from retrieving the file. Peripheral devices such as mouse and

####### keyboard will apply to the cost of the bundle.

Budgeting Solution 2

####### C# may be free if there is a built-in software called Visual Studio installed on computers. The training

####### session may depend if users would prefer using all the helpful resources through the software, watching

####### video clips of helpful advices or by booking a lesson within the location near where they live.

Recommended Solution

####### Within these two budgeting solutions, I have come up with delivering a suggested solution for both two

####### proposals (C# and Python). My suggested solution would be for users to choose C sharp and this is because

####### this proposal is dynamically a written language providing a healthier readability with including more

####### dynamic language compared to Python. Additionally, this programming language contains ease of

####### development with requiring less keywords and more free English language syntax. This would imply that

####### the development process would become easier to the extent where it will allow users the ability to provide

####### a helpful tool where they can start the creation with readymade generated code as soon as they open the

####### program software.

####### The other reason why I have chosen the proposal (C#) language is because it highly provides high and

####### strong memory backup which means there will not be any problems with memory leakage and the other

####### types of problems for the outcome.

####### The recommended solution that I have found out for users to use my program/application are:

HP Spectre x

####### 19 thin; Starting at 2

####### FHD with HP Sure View Privacy or 4K UHD screen options

####### Intel® 9th generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor 6-cores

####### NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics processor

####### Up to 15 hours 45 mins battery life

From the specification: Project management is the art of coordinating resources, both human and machine, and solving problems to complete an agreed set of objectives and/or to deliver benefits in a fixed time period, budget and to a specified quality. Ensuring the quality of IT projects in any sector is an essential requirement. The specification has 4 Learning Aims : A Investigate the principles and methodologies of IT project management as used in industry B Carry out a project initiation for an IT project C Carry out the planning, execution, monitoring and controlling of an IT project, using an appropriate methodology D Undertake the closure of a project by reflecting on the success of personal performance and the project outcome. These Learning Aims are assessed through a maximum of 3 summative assessments covering: 1) Introduction to Project Management (LA A) 2) Carry out the Initiation, Planning Execution and monitor & control of a project (LA B & C) 3) Close the project( LA D)

Unit 9 Project Management 60GLH P R Breach Summer 2021 Page 2 of 5 Assessment 1 A.P1 Explain, using appropriate definitions, the characteristics of different methodologies applied in IT projects. A.P2 Explain the project management structures applied in different IT projects. A.M1 Compare, using appropriate definitions, the characteristics of different methodologies and structures applied in IT projects. A.D1 Evaluate, using appropriate definitions, the characteristics of different methodologies and structures applied in IT projects. You will carry out guided research into Project Management generally and specific Project Management methodologies to develop a knowledgebase on the terminology used within the field, both in general and specific areas. Using this you will be able to explain the characteristics and structures of the different methodologies and structures. You will be able to identify and compare methodologies and structures within Project management and identify how these fit within the different methodologies. By comparing the characteristics of the different methodologies you will be able to evaluate the characteristics and identify suitable methodologies to broad “problem areas” Assessment 2 B.P3 Research with some inconsistencies an IT problem, based on a given theme and scope out at least two alternative solutions. B.P4 Prepare with some inconsistencies a feasibility study on an IT project and select a preferred solution. B.M2 Assess consistently at least two adequately researched solutions to an IT problem on a given theme and recommend a preferred solution C.P5 Plan with some inconsistencies and/or omissions the implementation of an IT project. C.P6 Execute with some inconsistencies and/or omissions the implementation of an IT project. C.P7 Monitor and control with some inconsistencies and/or omissions the implementation of an IT project. BC.D2 Evaluate consistently and comprehensively at least two researched and realistic solutions to an IT problem on a given theme and justify, using logical chains of reasoning, a preferred solution. BC.D3 Perform consistently and effectively appropriate project management processes to implement an IT-based project. This is about creating a Project Management document, and falls into clearly defined areas: 1) Initiation Phase 2) Planning Phase 3) Execution phase
  • 3. Unit 9 Project Management 60GLH P R Breach Summer 2021 Page 3 of 5 Initiation Phase The syllabus document relating to this is part B. I suggest that the structure that this is laid out in, is an approach to learning the skills, and is not a structure for the documentation. Project idea generation. This will be a project that you must carry through the Project Management phases and using appropriate software construct an end product. Depending on the group (Diploma/Extended Diploma) there will be differences in the projects. You will need to provide information on the organisation the work is being done for – name, organisation type, the users of the system and what it is required to do. From this you will clarify with the client what functions and characteristics are required, the deliverables – those components that are identifiable and measurable. This creates the scope, what is and isn’t included in the project- defining the limits. This will be used to research similar projects and how they have been implemented, and perhaps provide some additional design ideas. Using this and a range of creativity tools, you will provide at least 2 alternative approaches to the problem with an outline costing and performance parameters. For each design idea, you will perform a number of assessments, acting as the feasibility study. Each assessment requires sufficient detail to enable you to perform an evaluation as to which design is deemed “best” Following from the evaluation you will produce a formal proposal, that identifies the project and its deliverables along with the planned method of approach using algorithms, flowcharts and other work as necessary. This is to include an overview of the client acceptance criteria. Planning Phase The planning phase is best regarded as a series of related documents that when combined produce the overall plan for the project. Previously you identified the Key requirements. Part of the planning phase is to break those down to smaller components that are capable of being measures for success. These are the DELIVERABLES of the project. These can be identified as Functional requirements – what the project must do and non-functional requirements that relate to how things are done. For example the processing speed, the tome to write to disk/read data back, security and maintenance issues. Specific planning activities include: The development of a resource plan. This includes people as well as physical resources such as cameras, digitisers etc as required. You should take account of resources that are needed for only part of the time, and may be in use elsewhere – managing scarce resources. A time plan. There are several ways of producing these, however one of the most common is the time plan that shows the relationship between activities and is displayed as
  • 4. Unit 9 Project Management 60GLH P R Breach Summer 2021 Page 4 of 5 a Gantt Chart – in College we have access to MS Project, but others are available to download. Time limited software needs careful consideration. A Risk plan. Please note issues are thigs that happen that are not planned for, because by their nature they cannot be planned for. A risk is something that can be anticipated, and hence planned for. At its simplest a risk is something that can cause harm or injury,(The Risk), which can be banded into how much injury is caused, (Severity) and has a chance of occurring,( Frequency). Once these are assessed, the organisation has to take measures to reduce likelihood and severity through MITIGATING ACTIONS. Depending on the methodology used, the quality assurance can be identified in broader, or detailed statements. Detailed statements apply to linear methodologies such as waterfall, where a quality plan can be prepared in detail, as little if any changes to the specification are allowed. This table would have to include the details on what is being assessed, the data used, expected results and actual results and comments if there is a discrepancy – possibly how to fix the problem. There are a number of other items to be considered, which may be included in the above. Contingency planning or how to allow for time or budget flexibility – the management ahead of time for unforeseen events. The meeting, review and feedback with the client or representative – possibly on the Gantt Chart. EXECUTIONPHASE The project is constructed following the previously prepared plans. Inexperience may result in overly optimistic timeframes, budgets, or technical ability of the staff. These will all need to be recorded to be used in the project closure. If the planning is more realistic, there may be little variance from the plan. Evidence throughout the execution should be gathered to show A.) Adherence to the plan, or B.) Any problems encountered and how they were dealt with. In programming projects the need to produce annotated code cannot be stressed enough. This evidence cn be used in the project review- if not present it means the review cannot be completed MONITORING & CONTROLLING These plans will also allow MONITORING of the project to take place. Annotation of the Gantt Chart will show work completion actual against the plan and may record discrepancies from the plan in other areas, such as financial, risk etc. Control comes from attempting to address the points identified in monitoring For time based issues consider CRASHING as one technique but also consider others. As the Risk plan deals with predictable events, these should still be recorded if they occur, as should the unforeseen events and how they are dealt with through a logbook.

D.P9 Explain how relevant behaviours were applied during the management of an IT project. D.M4 Recommend improvements to the project management skills and behaviours applied during an IT project. D.D4 Demonstrate consistently good technical understanding and analysis of the project, including the effective application of relevant project management skills and behaviours. Project Closure As well as disbanding the team so they can move to other projects, the closure phase involves a SYNOPTIC REVIEW of the process and the part played by all involved. Project management. Was the process fully understood and implemented. Did all involved know their roles in the project and complete the associated tasks according to the plans and through completion of relevant documentation.? Personal and inter-personal skills. Did you manage your time appropriately to complete your tasks? Were communications initiated as necessary to clarify areas of concern, and did you document them appropriately, including feedback and required actions arising from the discussions? Can you show that you demonstrated problem solving skills, initiative and creativity in the work? How well did you demonstrate professionalism, respect for others and that you took responsibility within the project? This is not about writing an essay, but about dealing with the evidence to support these questions. Without evidence there is little scope for anything above a PASS in this category. (M4 what is the basis for the recommendations? D4 Without evidence how can you meet these requirements?)
